The Do's & Don'ts of Building Code Compliance: IECC 2015

Join The USGBC Colorado Eagle Valley Community on June 13th.  Derek Place, the Building Code Official for the Town of Avon, has 37 years of building code enforcement experience. At this event, you will learn about what a Building Official does and why their role is important in building sustainable homes. Additionally, the attendees will learn about the important updates in the IECC 2015 from previous code versions, specific amendments for each Eagle County community that affect the IECC 2015 requirements, and the dos and don'ts for passing your energy inspection. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask our presenter specific questions they have at the end of the presentation! Please park in the parking lots at the top of the hill and walk down to the Center of Sustainability, which is located on the West side of Walking Mountains Lane.
